| In the hot galvanizing production, many defects, for example, galvanization-missing, poor surface smo-othness, a lot of zinc ash and slag and high zinc consumption, occur. In order to eliminate these defects, in general great attention is paid to molten zinc, but various working steps of the workpiece before its ente-ring pot are neglected. For this reason, we think that for increasing galvanizing quality, the pretreatment of the workpiece before pot is very important. Poor pickling as well as too high impurity content of galvaniz-ing solvent cause the abovementioned defects. Applying galvanizing solvent is an indispensable step for tradi-tional dry hot galvanizing process. |

| In the normal production process some impurities, such as acid, iron, dust, etc. are carried inescapa- |
| bly by pickled workpiece into galvanizing solvent. For long term production the impurity content in the solv- |
| ent becomes more and more high, and thus these impurities is carried by the workpieces into the zinc pot |
| and the impurity content of molten zinc in the pot becomes more and more. In this case poor galvanizing |
| quality and a lot of zinc ash and slag cause increase of galvanizing cost. To counter this situation, our com |
